Scotland London Africa Week Returns in 2025 to Strengthen Trade and Business Ties

After the success of Scotland London Africa Week 2024, the Scottish Africa Business Association (SABA) has confirmed the return of the event, scheduled for November 25-27, 2025.

Now firmly established as a key platform for fostering trade, collaboration, and investment between Scotland and African markets, Scotland London Africa Week continues to create valuable opportunities for businesses. The 2024 edition brought together senior diplomats, government officials, and business leaders, facilitating connections and unlocking opportunities for more than 20 delegates.

The 2025 programme is set to build on this momentum, with confirmed highlights including a strategic meeting with the Department for Business and Trade (DBT) Africa Team and an exclusive networking reception at Dover House, hosted with the permission of the Secretary of State for Scotland, The Rt Hon Ian Murray MP.

SABA is also collaborating with High Commissioners and Ambassadors from across Africa to ensure that Scottish businesses gain unparalleled insights into African markets, access to key decision-makers, and opportunities to engage with London’s vibrant African business community.

Frazer Lang, Chief Executive of SABA, commented: “Scotland London Africa Week has proven to be an invaluable platform for Scottish businesses looking to expand into Africa. The engagement we saw last year from both African and UK stakeholders was fantastic, and we are excited to deliver an even more impactful programme in 2025. One of our success stories from last year was the partnership between VG Energy and Norco, which resulted in a Memorandum of Understanding, binding the two companies in an exclusive agreement that will drive growth and technical innovation in Nigeria.”

Frank Burns, Contract Support Engineer at Norco, added: "We are extremely pleased to declare our exclusive partnership with VG Energy via this Memorandum of Agreement. This is a new and exciting chapter for Norco as we expand our presence and service offering in Nigeria. Together with VG Energy, who bring significant experience in identifying and securing new business opportunities, we feel well-placed to unlock new growth opportunities in the energy sector and beyond."

The 2025 event will feature sector-specific briefings, market insights, and networking opportunities designed to equip Scottish businesses with the knowledge and connections needed to succeed in African markets.

Scottish businesses interested in participating are encouraged to register early to secure their place.
