Grey/Ven Names Ilana Kugel Creative Director for Women's Collection

Grey/Ven, the iconic name in quiet luxury, has announced the appointment of CFDA-recognized designer Ilana Kugel as Creative Director for its women’s collection. The announcement was made before the New York Fashion Week runway show, where the brand showcased both Kugel’s debut collection for Grey/Ven, titled "The Journey" FW 25, and its inaugural luxury handbag collection.

Known for her work with Koral swimwear and as the first athleisure designer inducted into the Council of Fashion Designers of America (CFDA), Kugel has previously contributed to Grey/Ven’s resort and pre-fall collections. Now, she’s ready to present her first full-scale collection for the brand, bringing a fresh and luxurious perspective to the women's space.

Kugel's FW 25 collection, "The Journey," is a reflection of her distinctive approach to original style. Inspired by the tranquil beauty of a desert sunset, the collection features an array of sweaters, dresses, and layering pieces that exude effortless sophistication. Monochromatic tones are paired with sheer merino wool and ethereal silk, while earthy hues and a suede-like finish evoke the spirit of wanderlust.

Grey/Ven debuted the FW 25 collection, as listed in the CFDA Fashion Calendar, during New York Fashion Week on February 7th, 2025, at Casa Cipriani. The event also highlighted the brand's first-ever luxury leather goods collection, which complements the ready-to-wear collection and underscores Grey/Ven's commitment to superior craftsmanship and timeless design. 

The ongoing New York Fashion Week will hold from February 6th to 11th, 2025.
