Gosha Rubchinskiy and Ye (formerly Kanye West) are ending their year-long collaboration, which Rubchinskiy described as “memorable” in a statement, adding that it has “reached its conclusion.”
Rubchinskiy, who was responsible for menswear at Ye's Yeezy brand, is now focusing on relaunching his own namesake label later this year.
Known for his post-Soviet, skater-inspired designs, Rubchinskiy gained early success with support from Comme des Garçons before his brand was halted in 2018 following misconduct allegations. In 2023, he secured new financial backing to continue his creative endeavors.
“As I move forward, I continue to develop my creative vision, exploring new projects and evolving past ideas in ways that feel true to me,” Rubchinskiy shared.
