MTN Group has appointed Sandile Gwala as an independent non-executive director, with his tenure set to begin on January 1.
Gwala is the co-founder and CEO of SoluGrowth, a consulting firm serving both local and international clients. He holds a Bachelor of Commerce in Information Systems and an MBA from the University of Natal, reflecting a solid academic foundation.
With a distinguished career spanning various roles, Gwala has served as a group executive director and partner at Deloitte South Africa, as well as contributing to Deloitte's international operations in the UK and Denmark.
Beyond his corporate achievements, Gwala is actively engaged in the non-profit sector. He holds a non-executive role at Harambee, where he contributes to multiple board sub-committees, and has previously served as a non-executive director at Business Process Enabling South Africa, a key industry body for the business services sector.
MTN Group celebrates the addition of Gwala's expertise and leadership to its board.
