Africa’s Global Bank, United Bank for Africa (UBA) Plc, in partnership with Mastercard, has introduced a special edition debit card to mark UBA’s 75th anniversary, offering customers a range of exclusive discounts and benefits.
This anniversary card celebrates UBA's longstanding commitment to customer service and aims to elevate the banking experience by providing unique offers across various platforms. UBA’s Group Managing Director/CEO, Oliver Alawuba, announced the card’s launch, highlighting perks such as a 25% discount on Jumia purchases and a USD75 cashback on AliExpress transactions.
“This commemorative card embodies our shared vision with Mastercard to empower Africans through secure and convenient financial solutions,” said Alawuba. He also mentioned plans to roll out similar products in UBA’s other markets across Africa, underscoring the bank's commitment to expanding customer benefits.
