Canon Europe has strengthened its scanner lineup with the introduction of the imageFORMULA DR-S350NW, a compact and secure A4 desktop scanner designed for speed, efficiency, and high-quality performance. Ideal for a wide range of industries, including education, legal, healthcare, and small offices, the new scanner is user-friendly and operates without requiring a PC connection, driver, or software installation.
The imageFORMULA DR-S350NW integrates Canon's CaptureOnTouch Lite Web application, enabling users to easily connect and scan via a computer or mobile web browser. Its direct job scanning feature allows preconfigured workflows to be executed from the scanner itself, streamlining document delivery to destinations like shared folders, Microsoft Teams, email, and FTP servers.
Equipped with a 4.3-inch color LCD touch panel, the scanner offers a customizable menu for editing, previewing, and managing scanning tasks, ensuring high-quality output. The DR-S350NW also supports flexible connectivity with USB, LAN, and WiFi options, including compatibility with both 2.5GHz and 5GHz WiFi frequencies.
The imageFORMULA DR-S350NW is compliant with the latest WPA3 standards – which helps ensure robust encryption and the safeguarding of sensitive information against cyber threats. The scanner also includes a number of advanced security features, such as user access restriction controls and document encryption technology, which protects information as it passes through the device, even in shared working environments.
