SITFINE Toilet Sanitizer Spray Unveiled in Lagos, Promises Lasting Germ Protection

Shodan Pharmaceuticals Ltd. has officially introduced SITFINE Toilet Sanitizer Spray to the Nigerian market. The innovative, quick-drying aerosol is designed to kill 99.99% of germs on toilet seats. Unveiled at a media briefing in Lagos, SITFINE aims to enhance personal hygiene in public and private restrooms.

According to the Vice President, Shodan Pharmaceuticals, Mr. Daniel Okeoma, SITFINE is a clinically tested and NAFDAC-approved product that provides maximum protection against germs and bacteria. Okeoma explained that SITFINE addresses the growing concern about hygiene in public restrooms, particularly among women, who are often vulnerable to infections from unsanitary toilet seats.

“SITFINE is a game-changer for hygiene-conscious individuals. You no longer need to worry about the cleanliness of public toilets. With just a spray, it neutralizes germs and odors instantly,” Okeoma stated.

He highlighted that SITFINE is not only effective but also portable, making it easy to carry in a handbag for use on the go.

According to the World Health Organization, poor sanitation is responsible for about 70,000 deaths annually among children under five due to diarrheal diseases. With only 23% of the population having access to safely managed sanitation services, there is a pressing need for better infrastructure and improved hygiene practices.

The Nigeria Center for Disease Control (NCDC) reports that cholera continues to be a persistent issue, with more than 6,000 cases and approximately 150 deaths recorded in 2023.

The idea for SITFINE originated from a personal experience shared by the founder of Excid Pharmaceuticals, the product's manufacturing company. “A friend attended a party but was unable to use the restroom because it was in poor condition. That conversation, combined with my experience as a pharmacist treating women for infections contracted from unsanitary restrooms, led to the creation of SITFINE,” Okeoma stated.

Key Features of SITFINE:
  • Clinically Tested and NAFDAC Approved: SITFINE is safe and has passed regulatory standards.
  • Instant Protection: Kills 99.99% of germs upon contact.
  • Odor Neutralizer: Eliminates unpleasant smells and leaves a fresh fragrance.
  • Portable: The spray is lightweight and easy to carry.
  • Affordable: It is cost-effective and accessible to the average consumer.
SITFINE works by spraying directly on the toilet seat or other restroom surfaces, with the product sanitizing within five seconds. It is safe for the skin and is free from harsh chemicals, making it suitable even for individuals with respiratory conditions like asthma.

Availability and Distribution
SITFINE is currently available in major supermarkets across Nigeria, with plans to expand distribution to all states soon. Shodan Pharmaceuticals, in partnership with Alpha Crest Consult, is leading the marketing and distribution of the product. The company is also working to combat counterfeiting through enhanced security measures.

In his remark, Mr. Emmanuel Enne, Executive Director of Alpha Crest Consult, emphasized the importance of SITFINE in preventing infections caused by unsanitary restroom conditions. “While SITFINE cannot cure infections like STIs, it plays a critical role in preventing the transfer of bacteria and other harmful microorganisms”, he said.

Commitment to Quality
Shodan Pharmaceuticals, founded in 2023, is committed to providing high-quality healthcare products that meet the needs of Nigerians. Under the leadership of its chairman, Seun Tola Shosanya, the company is focused on supporting local industries and ensuring access to affordable healthcare solutions.

With SITFINE, Shodan Pharmaceuticals aims to set a new standard in hygiene products, ensuring that Nigerians can maintain personal cleanliness and protect themselves from infections, wherever they are.
