IBM to Acquire Accelalpha, Expanding Oracle Consulting Capabilities

IBM has announced plans to acquire Accelalpha, a global Oracle services firm known for its expertise in transforming core business operations through Oracle Cloud Applications. This acquisition will strengthen IBM's Oracle consulting practice in supply chain, finance, enterprise performance management, and customer transformation.

With the maturity of Oracle applications, businesses increasingly seek strategic partners to drive their digital transformation. Once the acquisition is finalized, Accelalpha will integrate into IBM Consulting, adding a global team of specialized consultants to help modernize clients' operations using Oracle Cloud.

"Many enterprises rely on Oracle for critical workflows, and the acquisition of Accelalpha will further enhance our ability to support these clients with advanced Oracle solutions, including AI and cloud technologies," said Kelly Chambliss, Senior Vice President of IBM Consulting, Americas.

Based in Bellevue, Washington, Accelalpha specializes in Oracle Cloud consulting, with clients across North America, Europe, Asia, and beyond. Their expertise spans Oracle Cloud Supply Chain Management (SCM), Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), and Customer Experience (CX), among others. Accelalpha has established itself as a leader in Oracle logistics and was the first partner to implement Oracle Fusion Financials.

"IBM's global reach and innovative culture align perfectly with our growth goals," said Nat Ganesh, CEO of Accelalpha. "Combining our Oracle Cloud expertise with IBM's capabilities in AI and hybrid cloud will create even more value for our clients."

The acquisition builds on IBM and Oracle's 40-year partnership, with IBM recently recognized as a leader in Oracle implementation services by IDC MarketScape.
