As part of its commitment to empowering young innovators across Africa, HabariPay's Squad launched the inaugural Squad Hackademy Programme on September 13th. This hybrid internship is the second phase of the Take on Squad Hackathon 1.0, which took place on January 19-20, 2024, at the GTCO Training Complex in Abeokuta, Ogun State.
In this latest phase, six top-performing students from the Hackathon will have their university tuition fully paid while gaining hands-on experience at one of Nigeria's leading fintech companies. Participants will tackle real-world projects during their SIWES placements and university holidays, giving them practical exposure to the fintech industry.
“We are thrilled to launch the Squad Hackademy, offering young students a chance to immerse themselves in technology, hone their problem-solving skills, and support their education.
