Samsung’s ‘AI for All’ Vision Unveiled at CES 2024

Samsung Electronics unveiled its forward-looking vision at CES 2024, showcasing the transformative potential of artificial intelligence (AI) in redefining user experiences across devices. During a press conference, Samsung, in collaboration with key partners, highlighted the AI-driven technology behind their latest products and services, emphasizing the seamless integration of AI for enhanced user convenience.

Jong-Hee (JH) Han, Vice Chairman, CEO, and Head of Samsung’s Device eXperience (DX) Division, set the tone by outlining AI's pivotal role in elevating daily life experiences without intrusiveness, emphasizing its background functionality. The strategy centered on AI's capacity to amplify connected experiences, emphasizing simplicity and utility. Throughout the event, Samsung showcased various products and services embodying this vision.

“With the emergence of artificial intelligence, smarter, better experiences will redefine how we live,” Han said. “Samsung’s broad portfolio of powerful devices, along with the pursuit of open collaboration, will help bring AI and hyper-connectivity to all.”

Jonathan Gabrio, Head of Connected Experience Center at Samsung Electronics America, spotlighted AI's influence on Visual Display products and Digital Appliances. Notably, the Samsung Neo QLED 8K QN900D boasts the NQ8 AI Gen 3 processor, exponentially enhancing neural network capabilities and processing speed. This enables the TV to autonomously upscale content to 8K quality, employing AI Motion Enhancer Pro for sharper imagery. The TV's Active Voice Amplifier Pro optimizes audio by analyzing voice and ambient sounds via AI, delivering a premium auditory experience akin to live events.

Addressing diverse user needs, Samsung introduced inclusive features such as gesture-controlled sign language assistance and real-time Audio Subtitles for improved accessibility.

Additionally, Samsung unveiled The Premiere 8K, a wireless projector offering a cinematic 150-inch display, setting a new standard for home entertainment.

In the realm of sound, Samsung debuted Music Frame, a customizable speaker seamlessly integrating into home aesthetics. Through Q-Symphony, Music Frame synchronizes with Samsung TVs and soundbars, enriching audio with dual built-in woofers, effortlessly recreating immersive cinematic soundscapes at home.
