This exciting social coding event is set to unfold on January 19th and 20th, 2024, at the cutting-edge GTCO Training Complex, nestled in the heart of Tayo's Plaza, Abeokuta, Ogun State.
Take on Squad Hackathon 1.0 is tailored for young innovators from universities and tertiary institutions in Nigeria. The challenge? To conceive ingenious solutions to local and societal challenges. The hackathon is a strategic initiative geared towards positively impacting the youth of Nigeria. It provides a dynamic platform for aspiring entrepreneurs and innovators to hone their technological prowess, collaborate on innovative tech solutions, and refine their coding skills. Participants will enjoy exclusive access to leverage Squad's state-of-the-art APIs to bring their ideas to life.
This two-day event promises an immersive experience. Day one is dedicated to intense coding sessions, while day two unfolds with product demos, engaging panel discussions, and the grand announcement of the winners. The winning team with the most groundbreaking idea will walk away with a prize of N2.5 million. The first runner-up secures N1.5 million, and the third-placed team earns a respectable N1 million. Notably, the top three teams will embark on a transformative journey, joining the Squad Hackademy, where mentorship awaits, along with access to internships and job opportunities facilitated by Squad.
