Three-time women’s grand slam winner Iga Swiatek, has become the latest Visa ambassador to help fund her charity and financial literacy endeavours.
Swiatek will receive financial support from the worldwide payment network for a variety of his broad charitable activity, which varies from mental health awareness to support relief for Ukrainian children.
Visa will support some of Swiatek's activities by offering mental health and wellness tools, as well as a platform for the tennis player to develop digital content for the payments giant.
Swiatek will also display Visa logo on her clothing as she defends her US Open championship, which begins on August 28 in New York.
"I started my career in tennis at a young age, and even though I'm still learning, I'm trying to use my voice and become a role model for other young people," Swiatek said.
"Joining Team Visa with so many incredible athletes will help me continue to advocate for what's important to me, advancing the sport and social issues that matter most to me."
The Polish grand slam winner joins football players Lucy Bronze and Alexia Putellas as one of 600 Visa athletes, with more than half of them being female.
Swiatek adds Visa to her growing portfolio of endorsement partnerships, which has helped her establish herself as one of the world's most marketable athletes.
