Airtel Nigeria Appoints Oluwafemi Oshinlaja as Chief Commercial Officer

Airtel Nigeria, one of the leading telecommunications companies in the country, has formally named Oluwafemi Oshinlaja as its Chief Commercial Officer (CCO). The appointment, which became effective on May 1, 2023, was a big step forward for the newly appointed CCO.

The telco expressed its excitement in welcome Oluwafemi Oshinlaja to the post in an official release. The corporation cited his over 20 years of experience in several regional and national sales groups as evidence of his strong leadership track record. Oshinlaja was previously the Regional Operations Director for Lagos for Airtel Nigeria, exhibiting his outstanding leadership qualities.

Prior to this appointment, Oshinlaja worked as Director, Home Broadband, and as Acting Chief Commercial Officer between November 2022 and May 2023. During this interim period, he was able to demonstrate his abilities and demonstrate his capacity to efficiently manage many obligations.

As Airtel Nigeria's newly appointed Chief Commercial Officer, Oshinlaja will oversee the entire commercial operation. This includes all aspects of the company's operations, including product development, sales, commercial partnerships, and brand activities. His strong experience in operations and commercial strategy management is expected to greatly contribute to the organization's success.

Oshinlaja's experience overseeing many programmes at the same time, as well as his strong time management and prioritisation skills, will make him a useful addition to the telco's leadership team. He has continuously shown
a capacity to inspire, engage, and encourage extremely brilliant individuals throughout his career.
