The founder of First City Monument Bank (FCMB), Otunba Subomi Balogun has passed away.
According to emerging reports, the Olori Omoba of Ijebuland reportedly died in a London hospital on Friday morning. He recently marked his 89th year birthday on 9th March 2023.
Balogun was a Nigerian Yoruba banker and philanthropist who founded First City Merchant Bank, a company that later became the FCMB Group. He was a long-time member of the council of the Nigerian Stock Exchange.
