Samsung Set August 5 for Galaxy Unpacked 2020 ...to unveil Note 20, Fold Models

Samsung has announced its 2020 Galaxy Unpacked event set to take place on August 5, where the company is speculated to announce its new Galaxy Note 20 and Galaxy Fold models.

It is expected that the company will unveil its new lineup of Galaxy Note 20 devices, along with a possible successor to its first foldable, the Galaxy Fold.

There have been several leaks online on some of the expected devices, including the Galaxy Note 20 Ultra inadvertently posted on Samsung’s Russian website early July.

Last month, well-known leaker Jon Prosser tweeted about the Galaxy Note 20, Fold 2 and ZFlip 5G being released at the event. He was right about the date. He may also be right about the devices to be unveiled.

In addition to the Galaxy Note 20, Samsung might also unveil the successor to its Galaxy Fold. The Galaxy Z Fold 2 will supposedly arrive with an internal 7.7-inch display and currently unspecified specs upgrades. Finally, there’s talk of the Galaxy Z Flip 5G that will utilize the Snapdragon 865 Plus processor.

The 2020 Samsung Galaxy Unpacked event is scheduled to take place on August 5, 10 a.m. EST.
