Pfizer Hires Oluwayemisi Adekunle As Head, Corporate Affairs And Communications

Pfizer, a pharmaceutical company has hired the service of former Head of Corporate Affairs and Communications of SUNU Assurances Nigeria Plc, Oluwayemisi Adekunle as the company's new Head of Corporate Affairs and Communications.

Prior to joining Pfizer, she was the Head, Brand Communications of SUNU Assurances Nigeria Plc where she spearheaded the rebranding activities of the organisations and brand marketing operations along with team members.

With over 20 years of experience in launching products, coordinating branding activities, managing media relations, creating and implementing innovative and forward thinking marketing strategies, Adekunle will is expected to provide strategic and operational leadership as regards Corporate Affairs and Communications.

Oluwayemisi started her career at The Quadrant Company as Media Relations Executive before joining The Shops Advertising as Copy Executive and later joined Herald and Times Group as Freelance Journalist. Thereafter, she worked at TBWA\CONCEPT, Insight Marketing and Communications Ltd, Truly An Event, Graceful Heritage Media Limited, Optimal Cancer Care Foundation, ACCION Microfinance Bank Ltd, The Creative Entrepreneurs Association of Nigeria (CEAN),  Konga Online Shopping Ltd and SUNU Assurances Nigeria Plc before joining Pfizer.

Oluwayemisi is a graduate of Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) English of University of Ilorin and did a course in Marketing Communication and Selling Skills from School of Media and Communication, Pan-Atlantic University.
