Skype Brings Screen Sharing to iOS, Android

...Tests End-To-End Encryption With 'Private Conversations'

Skype has officially launched screen sharing for Android and iOS devices less than a couple of months after the feature rolled out for beta testers.

Android and iOS users can simply look for the new “…” menu in the bottom right corner, then tap “share screen.”

Be warned: Everything on your screen, including notifications, will be recorded, and visible to the other person. Enable Do Not Disturb to prevent unexpected pop-ups.

“Whether you have a last-minute meeting on the go, or your dad doesn’t know how to use his phone, screen sharing on Android and iOS lets you get it done from anywhere,” a Skype blog announcement said.

“Maybe you want to shop online with your best friends,” the team continued. “Or you need to collaborate with someone on the other side of the world from the comfort of your couch.”

No need to drag out your laptop. Just share your screen.
