Staff members of Oando Plc have been forced to stay away from work as the Nigerian Police Force (NPF) stormed the head office of the company at Ozumba Mbadiwe street in Victoria Island, Lagos on Monday morning.
The police’s takeover of the building is in line with the directives of the Security and Exchange Commission (SEC) on the constitution of an Interim Management Team.
The Securities and Exchange Commission recently appointed an Interim Management Team headed by Mr. Mutiu Olaniyi Adio Sunmonu CON, to oversee the affairs of Oando Plc; conduct an Extra Ordinary General Meeting on or before July 1, 2019; and to appoint new Directors to the Board of the Company, who would subsequently select a Management Team for Oando Plc.
In the meantime, the interim management team is supposed to take over the company today.
