The fighters, drawn from different parts of the Africa continent and outside, are the main attraction for the first major MMA competition to hold in Nigeria since the sport became the fastest growing combat sport globally.
According to Jeff Taylor, president of Warrior Sports Championship, the fighters are the best and the finest set of fighters out of the long line of professionals who qualified to showcase their talent in the most populous country on the African continent and the home champions such as Israel Adesanya and others.
“We are prepared for a three-day open competition in which we will ultimately crown the first Africa Warrior King through a 16 man winner-takes-all contest. We will also stage the main attraction which is the light heavyweight title fight between Emmanuel Onoja from Nigeria and Amer Abdul Nabi from Lebanon to fill the vacant slot.”

Segun Fayose, MD of Hexagon Production and Media Solutions, the marketing company for WSC said that tickets for the fight will be available at the venue of the event for interest members of the public who will be kept entertained during the three day duration of the fight extravaganza.
