addidas extends kit supply with Russian Football Union

As the world gear up for the biggest football event, the FIFA World Cup 2018, German sportswear brand addidas has announced the extension of the host nation (Russia) kit supply until 2022.



The Russian Football Union (RFS) signed a further four years. adidas has been a partner of the RFS since 2008.

RFU acting president Alexander Alayev said: “Our cooperation with this company also provides for a stronger marketing potential of the Russian national team.”

Russia will play their first match of the 2018 World Cup against Saudi Arabia on 14th June.

The tournament will run from 14th June 14 to 15th July.
