Telecom giant, Globacom has appointed former Creative Manager of DDB Lagos, Chris Ogunlowo as its Creative Director.
Ogunlowo announced the movement in a recent twitter post to put an end to weeks of speculations. “The rumours are true. Creative Director, Glo,” he said.
Before joining Glo, Ogunlowo was founder, Creative Director & Principal Partner of Kwirkly. As Creative Director, his responsibility include leading the team's creative outputs from concepts to execution, making sure a creative standard is adhered to, ensuring deadlines are met, collaborating with external parties, managing the team, and maintaining a healthy morale of the team.
He worked briefly at James Rammal Advertising, a Dubai-based agency as Creative Director after leaving DDB Lagos where he worked on brands like MTN, Microsoft, Fidelity Bank, Tastee Fried Chicken, Unilever and Mouka Foam as Creativity Manager.
He attended Miami Ad School, Berlin and obtained his first degree Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Communication and Language Arts from University of Ibadan.
