There is a deep cultural belief in Nigeria that it is socially acceptable to hit a woman to discipline a spouse. Domestic violence is widespread and shows no signs of lessening in Nigeria.

Taken the campaign against domestic and gender-based violence to the grassroots, the movie brought to the fore the alarming rate of the subject in the country and the need for more support from the government, NGOs, law enforcement agencies, family and friends.

The film was written and directed by Uche Chukwu, and produced by award winning Rotimi Salami.

The movie will hit cinemas across Nigeria from October 27, 2017.
