ADVAN Elects First Bank’s Folake Ani-Mumuney As New President

The Group Head, Marketing and Corporate Communications and General Manager, First Bank of Nigeria Limited,  Folake Ani-Mumuney has been elected the new President of the Advertisers Association of Nigeria, ADVAN during the association’s Annual General Meeting held on Friday in Lagos at the MUSON Centre.

Nkiru Olumide-Ojo Executive Head Corporate Communications Stanbic IBTC emerged Vice President of the association, while Wasiu Abiola who heads the Media & Digital unit at Nigerian Breweries Plc was elected as the other Vice President position. Mr. Onome Asagbra, Product Manager, Indomie became the new Publicity Secretary of the association.

Speaking shortly after her inauguration, Folake expressed  by the association who deem her fit to handle the position and promise to bring in her wealth of experience to run the organisation while building on the achievements of her predecessors.

Mrs. Ani-Mumuney is an accomplished business strategist, resourceful corporate communicator, award winning marketing communications professional and highly networked media manager.

She holds a B.A. (Hons) Philosophy from University of Lagos and L.L.B (Law) from University of Buckingham, England, UK.

She has several years of valuable experience, having worked before now as, Manager, African Operations at British Airways, Group Head, Corporate Affairs and Marketing Communications at Dangote Group before her present engagement with First Bank of Nigeria.
