The engineering firm, which has headquarters in Munich and Berlin, has been named as a performance partner of the club for the 2017-18 to 2019-20 seasons.
Under the agreement, an increased number of Siemens technology systems will be fitted in and around Bayern’s Allianz Arena, and at the club’s Säbener Strasse training ground. The partnership also covers Bayern’s basketball team.
The partnership will focus on software and cloud-based services relating to power engineering, building technology, safety and security technologies. Mobility solutions for local public transportation and traffic management systems will also form part of the association.

The fact that it also includes our ambitious basketball players is an additional sign of Siemens' tremendous trust in the partnership between these two strong brands. As a global market leader in digital factory automation and simulation solutions, Siemens also cooperates with several manufacturers in the sporting goods industry. Its goal is to tailor products more quickly, more transparently and more individually to customer requirements since the production of personalized sporting goods also requires the increasingly flexible adjustment of production processes. Digital technologies are a key lever for improving the fan experience – and thus the club's success – over the long term by mastering both current and future challenges.
