Despite being aged just nine, Shane Kluivert – the son of Barcelona and Netherlands great Patrick – has signed a deal with the sportswear giant, Nike.
The Paris Saint-Germain starlet, Shane becomes the youngest European athlete to be sponsored by Nike.
He confirmed the deal to his 120,000 Instagram followers with the post: "Very proud signed my first contract with @nike."
His dad, Patrick enjoyed a storied career, winning the Eredivisie, Champions League, Super Cup and La Liga after playing for Ajax, Barcelona and AC Milan.
