Babaeko, Adheke, Alausa Join Other MEA Juries For Loeries Award 2017

Three Nigerian top advertising practitioners have been announced as part of juries of the 2017 Loeries award. The admen are: Abolaji Alausa, ECD at Noah’s Ark, Adaora Adheke, MD at Peacock Media and Steve Babaeko, CEO at X3m Ideas.

Loeries judging will be held at the Durban ICC during Creative Week (Monday 14 August 2017 – Thursday 17 August 2017) preceding the awards ceremonies. The result of the judging showcases the best of brand communication from our region.



Abolaji Alausa is the Executive Creative Director of one of Nigeria's fastest growing creative powerhouses, Noah's Ark. As a multi-award winning creative guru, Alausa has contributed to the rapid growth of his agency with outstanding creative works that helps the agency's clients grow their brand in the country.

Having been a Cannes jurist from 2010 – 2016, Adaora Adheke was named the Cannes Jury President/Chairperson for the 2017 Young Lions Media Award. Beyond the foreign recognition, she has over the years been nominated to several roles and awards.

Steve Babaeko is the founder of X3M Music, a record label focused primarily on developing young talents. He is a creative writer, consumer behaviour analyst, and brand builder. With 20 years of industry experience garnered from MC&A Saatchi & Saatchi, Prima Garnet Ogilvy and 141 Worldwide before he founded X3M Ideas in 2012.

Loeries Creative Week Durban takes place from Monday, 14 August to Monday, 21 August 2017.

According to the organizers, juries were selected based on their industry thought leadership and vast knowledge of the African Integrated Marketing Communications space.

The Loeries, a non-profit company, is Africa and the Middle East’s premiere initiative that recognises, rewards, inspires and fosters creative excellence in the brand communication industry.
