Lagos NIPR Holds First 2017 PR Clinic Today

  • Meeting To Hold At Westown Hotel Ikeja

Lagos NIPR; the flagship Chapter of the Nigerian Institute of Public Relations (NIPR), will hold its first PR Clinic in 2017 today, Thursday 12, at Westown Hotel, 7 Sheraton Opebi Link Road, Sheraton Bus Stop, Ikeja by 3pm prompt.

The meeting was initially schedule to hold at the usually venue, Elomaz Hotel, 3/5 Immanuel Street, Off Mobolaji Bank-Anthony Way, Maryland, Ikeja but it was eventually change this week. No reason was given for the change of location as at the time of filling this report.


Yomi Badejo Okusanya, President and Chairman of Council, Africa Public Relations Association, and Managing Director/CEO, CMC Connect Burson-Marsteller will be the special guest of the event and he will be  delivering a lecture on the theme: 10 Trends that will Impact Public Relations in Future and Cultivating a Professional Image.

The theme seeks to x-ray how the industry is undergoing major transformations. As practitioners of an ever-evolving field, there’s need for public relations and social media professionals to constantly strive to stay on top of all current and even future trends in the industry. These trends illuminate which tactics most effectively help practitioners execute their strategies. The theme is also premised on the need to groom practitioners to cultivate professional image going forward.

The Lagos PR Clinic is a high-end training geared to equip and capacitate Members of the Institute with high-level strategies, tactics and how-to’s so they can do their jobs better, train their teammates, and lift their campaign results. The Clinic has featured several notable speakers over the years and has become a rich resource for public relations practitioners and the media.
