SA's Publicis Machine celebrates Emirates Airlines win

Cape Town based integrated communications firm, Publicis Machine has officially been appointed the lead advertising agency on the sought-after Emirates airline account for both South Africa and Angola.  This is another significant win for the agency that has delivered sterling work for its prestigious clients over the past year, and follows an intense four-way pitch process.

In his remark, Publicis Machine MD Tom Fels said: "We love to partner with brands that resonate with our own agency culture and values, so naturally we have always had our eye on the Emirates brand. Our team is both delighted and honoured to be partnering with Emirates and we look forward to doing many years of great work together.  It is with pride that we announce this win, not only as a coveted addition to our client portfolio, but also as a potential long-term partnership.’’

Emirates  is one of the most admired brands globally and known as one of the most innovative carriers in the industry. It recently added the prestigious Skytrax World Airline Awards’ Best Airline of the Year title to its long list of accolades, making this the fourth time it has scooped this coveted title. The opportunities for Emirates in the years ahead are extremely exciting, and with Publicis Machine on board to support and grow the Emirates brand, it is all set to become one of the most recognised and loved lifestyle brands in Africa.
“During the RFP process, the Publicis team demonstrated an excellent grasp of our strategic, brand and tactical communication requirements, and showed an ability to develop inspiring creative work across channels. We look forward to working with them.” says Christopher Galanto, Senior Vice President - Advertising for Emirates.

‘’This win further demonstrates our ability to take on the lead agency role for powerful global brands in the South African and African market. ‘’ concludes the agency’s dynamic MD.
