As Nigeria marks its 56th Independence Day on October 1st, 2016 Nigerians who have been tagging Aba-made products as counterfeit can now abdicate that perception as the Abia State Government is launching, http://madeinaba.com.ng/, an Ecommerce platform for goods made in Aba.

This was announced in a tweet by Sam Hart, a Senior Special Assistant to the Abia State Governor, Okezie Ikpeazu.

While some Nigerians are happy about this development, many are still skeptical  about shopping on the website because some makers of Aba-made products  are believed to be producing substandard items.
