GWK, a leader in South African agribusiness, has appointed Tribeca Public Relations as its PR agency partner. The agency is tasked with supporting GWK as it entrenches its business as a leading innovator and partner to farmers in one of the most challenging and intriguing sectors of the South African economy.
The appointment follows Tribeca’s role in co-ordinating communications around GWK’s rebranding and repositioning at the end of 2015, including the announcement of its 2015 financial results, and the launch of GWK’s stop-frame animation advertisement. Tribeca also assisted in telling the story about the launch of GWK Farm Foods, a subsidiary of GWK responsible for the Nature’s Farms range of consumer food products currently available nationally in Pick n Pay.
Commenting on the appointment, Neil de Klerk, GWK executive marketing manager said: “What really attracted me to Tribeca was the company’s vision, more specifically its commitment to supporting its clients’ business objectives. What I can say, from my experience, is that everyone at Tribeca works according to those commitments and beyond. I look forward to building the partnership further with the team”
“Tribeca is excited to partner with GWK as the agri-business affirms its position as a proudly South African company that builds and supports one of the country’s most vital sectors: the farmers who grow the food that feeds our country,” says Cian Mac Eochaidh, co-owner of Tribeca Public Relations.
“GWK’s repositioning is one of discovery and exploration, focused on building farmers as heroes who work in ways that others would deem impossible to find new and smarter solutions for agriculture. We’re looking forward to helping them tell their story to the people who are important to their business: farmers, investors, the business community and consumers alike.”
