Shongai Technologies Limited, Nigeria’s leading printing and packaging solutions provider has announced that it has been awarded NIS ISO 9001:2008 certification from the Standards Organisation of Nigeria for quality management system and business processes.
Speaking on the achievement, Mr. Ravinder Kanwal Managing Director, Shongai Technologies Limited, said “A lot of hard work and dedication has gone into making this certification come true for us. The process started more than a year ago with internal awareness campaigns and training programmes to ensure that staff understand the scope of the certification and their roles in achieving it. We are proud that we have successfully completed a rigorous process that will positively impact our products, services and customers’ satisfaction.”
“At Shongai Technologies, we have invested in state-of-the art equipment from Europe. These include the 10 Colour Gravure Printing Machine and 5 Layer Blown Film Line from Windmoller & Holscher, Germany and the Gallus Label Printing Machines from Switzerland. We believe that with the right management and systems in place we would get maximum value from our investments and this necessitated stepping up our operations to meet global standards. The company offers flexible laminates, mono-cartons, self-adhesive labels, polyethylene shrink, stretch and barrier films for vegetable oil, cosmetics, food, beverage, pharmaceuticals, detergent, petroleum, and confectionary industries.
