JSP opens Nigeria's first ever media centre in new corporate PR office

JSP Communications, the top Public Relations agency in Nigeria that provides PR for some of the world’s most admired brands, has set a new benchmark for Public relations practice in Nigeria and Africa with its new tailor made corporate head office. Probably Nigeria’s most modern communications office, the new JSP also has a fully dedicated media center that provides a sophisticated work station and unlimited Wi-Fi access to journalists in Nigeria. This is the first of its kind in the history of PR and communications practice in Nigeria.

The new JSP PR office and Media Centre also has a digital library with access to books on various subjects and almost 200 magazines covering a variety of topics, from business to politics, fashion, sports, arts and media. In addition, the new office has an expanded TV network and special Apple TV with over 50 leisure, educational and news channels.    It therefore not only provides an ideal work atmosphere, it is also a learning center. To access the center, journalists only need to present their ID cards or book in advance for extended use and research.

Graduates students of Public Relations and Marketing Communications in Nigerian Universities, as well as NIPR, PRCAN and AAPN members are also welcome to use the new JSP Media Centre, on appointment, for their research work or projects.

The Executive Director of Jsp Communications, Ronke Adebule, stated that, the new office decision followed several years of preparation and trend analysis of the makeup of an ideal PR office and an initiative that will be five years ahead of its time. “We also wanted to operate from a location that will not only provide staff with an unparalleled serene and sophisticated work atmosphere, but will also be the most media friendly communications location in the country and probably the entire African continent.

“In line with our single minded goal to provide Public Relations with intelligence to the world’s most admired brands, we deemed it necessary to create a world class office that will enable staff to operate at optimal efficiency and be equipped with the physical and intellectual tools that will enable them execute efficiently and deliver creative solutions to clients’ growing PR challenges”

Dr. Phil Osagie, the Global Strategist, added that the communications and PR industry is changing at a fast pace globally and we must make every effort to stay ahead of the curve. “We are seeing a convergence in marketing, advertising and public relations in the global trend. Public Relations practitioners must be more deeply skilled than ever before and have adequate knowledge in the field of marketing, advertising and economics.

“It is therefore essential that we not only provide an office that is absolutely world class, but we also ensure knowledge and information is readily available. We also wanted to make such knowledge available to the media as well who in turn will educate and inform the wider public. It is a win-win not only for the PR industry, but for the country as a whole”
