Pepsi Football Academy youngsters, Nneku Joseph and Ekeh Divine, the winners of the 2015 edition of the Pepsi Academy UK Scholarship scheme, at the weekend departed for Brooke House College in the United Kingdom to study and play soccer for the next two years.
The two winners selected out of about 128 students of the academy in May at Abeokuta, Ogun State, were in company with the Brand Manager, Seven-Up Bottling Company, Mr. Segun Ogunleye, officials of the academy, families and colleagues at the departure hall of the Murtala Muhammed Airport, Lagos.
Speaking in Lagos, the Head Marketing Seven-Up Bottling Company Plc, Mr. Norden Thurston, said the departure of the two winners to Brooke House College in United Kingdom had reaffirmed the commitment of Pepsi to nurture and create opportunities for young football talents in Nigeria.
He reminded both winners to sustain the tradition of excellence which the Academy is noted for and be true ambassadors of Pepsi and Nigeria in the UK.
