Sony previously closed its physical retail stores in the US and now the electronic giant is doing the same with its online stores. The company still haven’t revealed the main reason behind shut down.
However, customers can still purchase any device they want from the Japanese electronics maker before the store officially winds down at 4 p.m. Eastern Time or 1 p.m. Pacific Time on that day.
This statement was contained in an email sent to all Sony Store customers. Sony did not disclose why it was closing its online stores but it did say that it would “soon unveil a new online product showcase and more ways to shop”.
