Manchester United has signed a new global sponsorship deal with Marathonbet ahead of the new season, which will see the gaming company become the club's betting partner in all markets worldwide, barring the US, China, Macau and Hong Kong.
Marathonbet replaces Bwin, whose £2.4m per year deal expired last month.
It will see Marathonbet engage with the Old Trafford club's 659 million followers through exclusive content and branding across United's digital platforms.
"Manchester United has a global presence with fans all over the world and our partners help us to engage with them in a range of innovative ways," said United's group managing director Richard Arnold.
Marathonbet's Chief executive Stan Reoutt said: “Recently, Marathonbet has made great strides towards being at the forefront of football betting and this partnership cements our aims as a brand.
"Manchester United is one of the most recognisable names in the world, let alone in world football and this announcement is a clear marker of our global plans for Marathonbet.
"We can’t wait to get to work with the club and their great fans.”
