The new deal, which officially began on 1st July, includes support for the Ligue 1 club’s women’s side and academy, as well as the men’s senior squad, for the next three years (2015-16 to 2017-18).
As part of the agreement, McDonald’s will receive signage at Lyon’s Stade de Gerland stadium during the club’s home games. The venue is scheduled to host matches at next year’s Uefa Euro 2016 tournament in France, which McDonald’s is sponsoring.
Financial terms were not disclosed.
Lyon finished second in Ligue 1 last season, eight points behind champions Paris Saint Germain.
