Lagos NIPR plans 26th AGM/PR Week

The Nigerian Institute of Public Relations, Lagos State Chapter has unveiled plans to mark its 26th Annual General Meeting/Public Relations Week.

The PR Week will start with a special inter-religious prayer for the Institute and the Nation followed by Bassey Koma Memorial Novelty Match between the Chapter and Public Relations Consultants Association of Nigeria (PRCAN) on Saturday July 18, 2015.

This year’s public lecture themed: "Corporate Social Responsibility: Prospects & Challenges in a Growing Economy", will hold at the AGIP Recital Hall, MUSON Centre, Lagos on Thursday July 23, 2015.

Chief Keith Richards has been identified as the Keynote Speaker while Calixthus Okoruwa, Managing Director of XLR8 Limited and Ken Egbas, Managing Director of Tru Contact are eminent discussants. The Speaker, Lagos State House of Assembly, RT. Hon Mudashiru Obasa as Special Guest of Honour for the event.

A special Gala Awards Dinner (Black Tie event), aimed at giving recognising and rewarding corporate organisations and individuals for their ground-breaking investment in CSR projects, will also take place at the Grand Ballroom, The Civic Centre, Victoria Island, Lagos on July 24, 2015.

Other programmes for the 26th AGM/PR Week include Youth Leadership Assembly at the Julius Berger Hall, University of Lagos on Tuesday July 21, 2015 and Social Media Workshop on Wednesday July 22 at Protea Hotel Leadway, Maryland, Lagos.
