As the official hotel partners of the financial institution, Jovago.com makes it easier for travellers to find and book from over 200,000 hotels around the world as well as pay for the each service through the Fidelity Mobile app in a few simple clicks.
According to the Business Development Manager, Adam Grant, “We are proud to partner with an established institution such as Fidelity Bank. They are committed to promoting their Credit and Debit card services and Jovago provides an ideal platform for their customers. This is a long term strategic partnership focusing on providing added value to Fidelity Bank Customers. We hope to integrate our booking portal into Fidelity Bank online and mobile applications in the near future."
Nigeria’s e-commerce market continues to experience robust growth on the back of increased internet access and improved mobile connectivity. Based on industry reports, 300,000 online orders are placed daily.
As reported by the Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC), active internet subscription in Q3 2014 stood at 73.9 million. This increase is expected to support the expansion of the e-commerce sector in the long term.
Speaking on the success of the deal, Marek Zmyslowski, Managing Director of Jovago.com said, "This is a major milestone for us.
