Apple has released the iOS 8.4 software update featuring the all-new revamped Music app for iOS devices.
This update introduces Apple Music-a brand new subscription music streaming service, and Beats 1-24/7 global radio station, and connect- a way for fans to connect with their favorite artists which are all going live today. iOS 8.4 also includes improvements for iBooks and bug fixes which includes a fix for the infamous ‘effective power’ iMessage bug discovered last month.
While iOS 9 later this year will be a large upgrade, many are looking forward to iOS 8.4 to give Apple Music a try. The service will include access to more than 30 million tracks, curated playlists and the new Beats 1 world wide radio service.
