First Bollywood Firm to cross Rs 100 crore mark in 2015

Kangana Ranaut and R. Madhavan starrer Tanu Weds Manu Returns has crossed the Rs.100 crore mark worldwide as it continues its golden run at the box office. It is also the first film of 2015 to have crossed the 100 crore mark.

The firm is the first female record in Bollywood to make such remarkable impact.

Last year, the top three Bollywood films were from the Khans: Aamir Khan’s PK, followed by Salman Khan’s Kick and Shah Rukh Khan’s Happy New Year—each earning more than Rs200 crore in Indian box office collections. Aside from the Khans, other male actors like Kumar, Hrithik Roshan and Ajay Devgn rule the box office.
