Kenyan Entrepreneur, Narendra Raval Covers Forbes Africa May 2015 Issue

Kenya’s top entrepreneurs Narendra Raval made the cover of the May edition of Forbes Africa magazine.

Raval went from being a priest at the age of 16 to one of the biggest producers of construction material in Africa. His success is due to hard work and a little luck.

The priest, according to Forbes has made $400 million in the tough world of cement and steel.

The edition also takes a look at xenophobic violence in South Africa and the Al Shabaab attacks in Kenya. It also highlights the elections in Lagos and London and what role they will play on the continent.

Speaking on this issue is Chris Bishop, Managing Editor of Forbes Africa: “Many of the stories are unsettling in this issue. Tales of militancy and murder from Kenya and depressing xenophobia in South Africa, but I believe it is our duty as a serious publication to cover the ugly side of the story in Africa as well as the hopeful stories of business success.”

The publication is now available on shelves from Monday, 4th of May.

The EMS Affluent Survey in Africa, from IPSOS, confirms Forbes Africa as the undisputed number one monthly print magazine in Africa, reaching a larger audience than all its direct competitors. Forbes Africa reaches 153,000 of the 3.4 million qualifying adults, aged between 25 and 64, across seven markets and that comprise the EMS African affluent.
