Peter Folikwe Named As Berger Paints New Managing Director

Mr. Peter Bababunmi Folikwe has been named as the new Managing Director of Berger Paints Nigeria Plc.

According to the company, the new Berger Paints MD views is appointment as an opportunity to build on the legacy the company had created over the years.

Folikwe brings over 24 years of experience in marketing, sales/distribution and general management to the board; having worked in a number of top-rated companies in Nigeria across a number of sectors in varied capacities.

Folikwe holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing from the University of Nigeria, Nsukka, and Master’s in Business Administration from the University of Benin.


Early this year, Berger Paints announced the appointment of  Mr. Jatin Madan, its Chief Operating Officer, as Acting Chief Executive Officer (CEO) following the disengagement of the Managing Director, Mr. Tor Nygard, from the services of the company.

Nygard stepped down at the expiration of his contract on January 31, 2015.
