Established in 1993, the Uptime Institute is an internationally recognized evaluator of data centres, and has awarded 490 certifications in 66 countries across the globe. Its Tier Classification system is widely accepted as the standardized methodology used in determining the functionality, capacity, availability and performance of data centres.
"We are proud that MTN Nigeria is one of only three companies to receive this prestigious certification in Nigeria. To achieve this feat, our data centre was assessed on various criteria, all of which we passed with flying colours.
