Konga To Launch Own Payment App Soon

Nigeria’s largest online marketplace, Konga has created its own secure payment app launching known as 'KongaPay'. The app will be available for download soon.

The payment app is to allow customers bypass debit cards when they make purchases on their site.

KongaPay also has an escrow-like feature which allows them offer a guarantee to refund the total purchase sum for any unsatisfactory products.

The launching of KongaPay will change online payment in Nigeria entirely such that customers do not need a payment cards or an internet banking portal. All that is required is a onetime integration, linked bank account and a one-time password.
