In line with its mission statement: “We will make people happy", Cold Stone Creamery Nigeria celebrated the grand opening of her Ikeja City Mall store with a three-day event packed with loads of giveaways and fun activities for customers and friends of the brand.
On the second day, the store gave free ice cream to the first 50 customers.
According to the management, the initiative was adopted in place of their regular ribbon cutting event in order to be able to give back to their customers and welcome new ones in grand style.
According to the Operations Manager, CSC Nigeria, Uzoelum Chukwunalu these signature creations are 20 in number and are tried and true with recipes from Cold Stone’s international taste master himself, Raymond Karam to give customers the “Ultimate Ice Cream Experience”. “We decided to go the experiential way this time; because in the end, we are all about our customers and the kind of experience they have in our stores” he said.
During a press briefing session, Marketing Cordinator, CSC Nigeria, Timileye Lajubutu said the decision of the company to move to the new location is to serve its teeming consumers within Ikeja, Oregun and its environs. "We are very particular about satisfying our customers. Cold Stone Creamery offer super-premium ice cream, made fresh every day, and served up with consumers' choice of mix-ins. We want to always make people happy", he affirmed.
The event also had in attendance celebrities from the popular Cool FM radio presenter, Taymi, to Tinsel actress Tomi Odunsi and upcoming musician Pepenaziii, who were all given the opportunity to experience the brand make their own ice cream and mix-in combinations which they gave their own special names.
The event ended with a family and friends offer of buy 3 get 1 free on the last day for those who had missed out on previous offers and others who can’t seem to get enough of the brand.
Cold stone creamery was officially launched in September 2012 and since grown to 13 stores across Nigeria including, Lagos, Ibadan and Enugu.
