WORLD MONOPOLY BOARD GAME: Bestman Launches 'Support Lagos' Project

For 8 decades, over a billion people in 114 countries and 37 different languages have passed “G0” and collected a salary. The iconic Monopoly Board Game celebrated its 80th Anniversary in February 2015. To mark this landmark year, HASBRO is releasing a world edition of Monopoly; Monopoly Here and Now, and is inviting fans the world over to select which great cities around the world should be featured on this special edition to be released later this year.

Powered by BuzzFeed, the MONOPOLY HERE & NOW property space vote, includes a special "Wild Card Week" which runs from March 3rd to the 9th, 2015. Fans can pick from a list of global destinations that will be featured in the MONOPOLY HERE & NOW: World Edition game to be sold globally this summer.

Bestman Games is the African Distributor of customized editions of Monopoly for 48 African countries. On December 2012 the City of Lagos Edition, the first African city edition, was launched by His Excellency, the Executive Governor of Lagos State, Babatunde Raji Fashola. Subsequently, the Nigerian Centenary Edition was launched in Feb 2014. Other exciting Nigerian state editions as well as other African editions will soon be rolled out in 2015.
