Having played Wolverine seven times since Bryan Singer’s original X-Men film in 2000, Actor Hugh Jackman has hinted that he will be bowing out of the Marvel comic book franchise after the third Wolverine film.
In an Instagram post from yesterday, the 46-year-old Australian star posted a photo of his right hand with the famous adamantium claws and the caption: “WOLVERINE…ONE LAST TIME. HJ.”
It’s unclear if “ONE LAST TIME” means one last time after the upcoming X-Men: Apocalypse—there has been no official word on whether Jackman will appear in that film
Wolverine 3 will be written by David James Kelly and released by 20th Century Fox. The film will be released by March 3, 2017.
