Jovago Plans to Grow the Hospitality Business in Nigeria in Collaboration with Hoteliers

Jovago, www.jovago.com – Africa’s largest online hotel booking platform has announced its recommitment to growing the Nigerian hospitality sector in partnership with hoteliers in Nigeria.

The company organized a workshop for hotel managers and owners in Nigeria in a bid to bring the company closer to its partner hotels and explore ways of maximizing the partnership. The workshop was focused on teaching the hotel partners about how they can appropriately position themselves on Jovago.com to get more bookings and thereby grow tourism in Nigeria.

The offline event was also directed at helping new and existing hotel managers gain confidence in the platform as many in the country still question online operations. Apart from the users being encouraged to earn more revenue, they were also shown ways of making their hotel facilities more appealing to guests thereby making it easier for users to find their hotels and book for them online.

During the workshop, Jovago officials demonstrated the complete procedure for booking hotels on the portal of the company. They also showed the advantages that hoteliers stand to gain providing up-to-date, accurate information about their facilities to Jovago.

Mrs. Tomi Tanimowo, Owner of Apartment Royale, expressed her delight at the workshop and commended Jovago for taking out time to put the workshop together, “now I know Jovago is real and has a keen interest in the growth of the hotels and this workshop is a real demonstration of this interest.” She further said the workshop is a good innovation and that she is happy to meet with Jovago.com and understand better the roles and responsibilities of both companies in growing this partnership.

Marek Zmyslowski, Managing Director of Jovago.com in a statement during the workshop said “this meet-and-greet workshop with our hotel partners is aimed at helping the hoteliers understand how to better get more bookings and ultimately earn more revenue from Jovago.com”. He stated that he was impressed with the turn up and the interactive nature of the guests in attendance and expressed his enthusiasm on the impact the workshop would have on improving tourism in Nigeria by helping hoteliers market their hotels online.

Jovago.com which was recently nominated as the hotel booking portal of the year by the Beacon of ICT Distinguished Lecture/Awards Series 2015 is looking forward to expanding its relationships with more hotels across Nigeria in order to establish long-term mutually beneficial relationships.
