A fire broke out at Mxit’s offices in Stellenbosch, a town in the Western Cape province of South Africa early morning, yesterday.
TechCentral reported that a fired caused by an electric fault started at around 02:00 on Wednesday.
Mxit chief financial officer Richard Newton told the website that the fire was the result of an electrical fault and that up to 10 staff would have to be relocated while the damage caused by the fire was repaired.
The fire reportedly had no impact on the Mxit’s operation.
