OMO, a household detergent brand produced by Unilever Nigeria has announced the launch of OMO Imagine & Achieve Campaign, a promotion geared towards developing kids’ ambition through creative art and writing in Nigeria. Tagged ‘Unleash Your Potential’, the creative art competition initiative, is targeted at helping school children across Nigeria develop their innate art skills.
During the official launch of the initiative at Carol Nursery and Primary School, Ikeja, the brand manager, OMO, Sarah Adoki explained that the need to help develop Nigerian children and help them realise their dreams made the launch of the initiative imperative.
According to Adoki, “In supporting their growth, we on our part decided to help children across the country unleash that hidden potential inherent in them through a creative art and essay competition which will see them express that which even their parents never knew they had in them.”
She added that school children would be required to creatively produce an art work, showing their future career, beautified with empty sachets of OMO Fast Action, with OMO’s brand Ambassadors collecting all artwork from schools, after which the first, second and third positions in each school would be rewarded individually.
Adoki explained that eventual winners from each school would compete with other schools, culminating in the emergence of state winners, who would compete nationally at the grand finale where one student would emerge the overall champion.
